As a Police Officer, eating healthy can be quiet difficult at times but its not impossible it just takes planning. Preparation is the key, plan your meals and make sure you have considered all your alternatives, “Can I bring my meals with me?”, “Are there healthy places to eat at, in my zone?” You must understand what you’re up against. Tupperware and a small cooler can be a great investment for the officer assigned to the patrol vehicles. Develop a relationship with restaurants that can prepare steam and baked food for you. I have found that Chinese food restaurants have no problems steaming food.
